Tour Plan

Day 01 ARRIVAL IN HANOI (LUNCH)

Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon our arrival, our guide and vehicle will pick us up at Noi Bai International Airport. We'll head to the city, check-in our hotel and refresh. At your leisure to clear our jet lag in the afternoon.

Before the Dinnertime, our Guide will be back to take us to Ta Hien area in the Old Quarter, hang around and enjoy a delicious local dinner (our guide will recommend good restaurants). Back to the hotel after the tour. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02 HANOI CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast, our guide and vehicle will meet us at the hotel to start our visit in Hanoi. Being a one- thousand-year city (since 1010), Hanoi is a cultural hub, from where we can go to explore the northern mountains, as well as plain paddy fields of the Red River delta, or go straight to the coastal area to refresh.

We will save today for the visits to get as close as possible to the daily life of Hanoi people. Our car will take us to pass by the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, where he is resting, then we will head to Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest Mahayana Buddhism temple of Hanoi, which was originally built in the 6th century, before crossing the street to a special memorial site of Hanoi: the monument of Mr. John McCain, a Vietnam War pilot veteran who later became a friend of Vietnam and a key person during the Vietnam - USA relation normalization in 1990s.

Our car will take us back to the Old Quarter and stop at the St. Joseph Cathedral, a hub of young Hanoi people and also a center of tasty street food dishes. After visiting, we will drive on to Cai Mam restaurant for a delicious local lunch. From Cai Mam, later we will walk up to O Quan Chuong, the only remaining ancient gate of Hanoi. From here some cyclos will meet us and the cycloboys will pedal us for about an hour round the Old Quarter and the Old French Quarter of Hanoi. This trip will be a wonderful time to watch the daily life of Hanoi and take fun pictures of exciting scenes, as well as pass by the city’s landmarks. At the end of the tour, the cyclo will take us to the “Hilton Hanoi Museum’’ that maintains the memories of the two Vietnam Wars, a remarkable place to help us understand the price of peace!

Back to the hotel by our car afterwards.

Free at leisure in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03 HANOI - HALONG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

After breakfast at hotel, a bus of our Cruise with a cruise guide will pick you up to go to Halong Bay, a great UNESCO World Heritage in Northern Vietnam. The transfer to the cruise takes about 2h30m.

Welcome onboard and take a 2 days - 1 night trip on a deluxe cruise with excellent and exciting activities [swimsuits recommended]. Being a Bay with nearly 2,000 islands and islets, some with craters, Halong has been recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage to emphasize its value and the

need to be protected. This journey will awaken all our senses with the beauty of nature, the savory taste, the comfy facility, and the perfect service right at one of the natural wonders of the world. Overnight onboard.

Please note! The cruises’ buses often pick-up the guests within the Old Quarter only, not other areas, to avoid long transfers within crowded short streets of Hanoi. The specific Cruise program of activities will also vary differently, in accordance with the itinerary of each cruise or crew.

Day 04 HA LONG BAY - HA NOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

Wake up in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, enjoy breakfast, and visit stunning caves or pearl farms in the morning. Lunch will be served onboard. At noon, after the trip, the cruise’s bus will take us back to Hanoi to rest and prepare for the long journey ahead.

Afternoon at your own leisure and arrangement. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 05 HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE - SAPA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After a short rest, we will visit Cat Cat village to explore the life of the H’Mong ethnic people, visit traditional craft villages, or go shopping for brocade souvenirs like towels, shirts, skirts, and bags made by the Hmong batik. Later, we will be back to the town’s center to walk around Sapa Church and the night market.

In the evening, our guide will take us to hang around to enjoy the nightlife of Sapa and have local dinner or snacks like grilled eggs, potatoes or corn (own expenses).

Overnight at our hotel in Sapa.

Day 06 SAPA – FANSIPAN – SAPA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast, our guide will pick us up to head to the Sapa Legend Tourist Area, where we get in cable cars to conquer the Fansipan, the Peak of Indochina at an altitude of 3,143m. The cable cars have many records: the longest 3-wire cable car in the world is 6292.5m long, the cable car with the largest difference between arrival and departure station at 1,410m high, and the safest rope in the world. We can take the cables up to an altitude of about 2,900m, then walk to Thanh Van Dac Lo and Bich Van Thien Tu to perform an incense offering ceremony at an altitude of 3,037m.

Let’s continue the journey to conquer the roof of Indochina!

This iconic seven-story pagoda dates back to the 17th century and is considered one of the oldest and most beautiful religious sites in the country. tourists. After getting off the cable car, our guide and van will take you to Hoi An, once called by Wanderlust Magazine “the must-see ancient town in Southeast Asia”. Here we can take a walk around with our guide to explore the culture of Hoi An at night, or taste various kinds of street foods like “Banh Mi” or “Mi Quang”, which are famous in the town. with our guide to Ben Thanh Market. Dinner at a local restaurant near Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 13 SAIGON – TAY NINH HOLYSEE - CU CHI TUNNELS – SAIGON (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

Morning, after breakfast our guide and vehicle will pick you up at the hotel and head to Tay Ninh province to visit an important cultural relic of the South: The Tay Ninh Holy See. The architecture is a little bit strange, but the followers of the temple (Caodaists, a local sect of Buddhism) are nice, religious, and strongly believe in Kindness, which can improve the lives of everyone. Around 12:00 noon every day, the Cao Dai people gather up in the Holy See temples in their white dress, carrying on a short but solemn ceremony.

After the visit, we will go for lunch before going back to Saigon with a visit to a strange construction: Cu Chi Tunnels. A huge underground system not far from Saigon, Cu Chi is the evidence of a very fierce war that the Vietnamese called “the War against the Americans” and the whole world calls it “The Vietnam War”. For many years before 1975, Cu Chi covered troops of Vietnamese guerillas not only from attacks but also protected their daily lives; it became a strong base for the Vietnamese forces during the conflicts and is now a weird war remnant that can make anyone of us feel a stronger love to peace and everyday life upon each time visiting this place.

Back to Saigon after the visit. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 14 SAIGON FREE DAY (BREAKFAST)
